How It Works

Any ticket to any city makes you eligible to enter.

Submit your short
Send a link to your movie with a logline and a short bio.

One winner per city
One movie is selected for each stop and revealed live on the big screen.

Public vote after LA
Once the final show wraps on October 9, all three winning films go to a public vote.
The Rules
Films must be your own original work. You need the rights to every frame and every sound in them.
Any genre, any camera, any budget.
Deliver a streaming link — Vimeo, YouTube, or Google Drive — that stays live through October 9, 2026.
Selections are made by Lucas and Curtis. One film wins in each city and is announced live on stage.
Winning filmmakers grant Sticks the right to screen their film at the show and in tour coverage.
Each entry total run time must be 8 minutes or less to be considered.

The Public Vote
Voting opens after October 9
Once the Los Angeles show wraps, all three winning shorts go live for a public vote. Nothing is decided before then.
